Ben 10: The Call of Vilgax is the third and final installment in the live-action Ben 10 film trilogy.

On June 14, 2011, producer Joel Silver announced that he along with Warner Bros. and Dark Castle Entertainment would be working in a film version of Ben 10. in January 2012, Albert Torres was announced as screenwriter. In the San Diego Comic-Con 2012, the movie was titled, "Ben 10: The Call of Vilgax", which will involve Ben going up against his arch-nemesis, Vilgax, who was an unlimited power enough to rule the world, with Alex Winter as director, and Ryan Kelley and Graham Phillips returning as Ben Tennyson (as both 18-Year Old Ben and 15-Year Old Ben), while Hugo Weaving plays the title character of Vilgax. On July 22, Galadriel Stineman and Nathan Keyes were announced to return as both Gwen and Kevin, reprising their roles from "Ben 10: Alien Swarm". On August, Barry Corbin was announced to return as Max Tennyson from "Ben 10: Alien Swarm". On August 19, Don McManus and Beth Littleford was announced to reprise their roles of Carl and Sandra Tennyson from "Ben 10: Race Against Time". On September 2, Brenda Song was announced to portray Julie Yamamoto. On September 22, filming started around the same day the series, "Ben 10: Omniverse" premiered.
